A Titanic installation with objects from 1912 By Thomas Dellert 2012 1. The Titanic Fantasy Mini Museum Display Vitrines. This is based on the collection of Titanic, or should I say 1912-related material I have collected over the past 35 years. They will be display in a glass vitrine with lights. The Fantasy Art Museum Vitrine will play with the form of Reality and Illusion. Like all real art, its more of what you feel and think when your looking at an art work or a museum display, than what you actually see. Art always take place in the head of the viewer. When you look at a picture of a bouquet of flowers or a landscape painting, you feel your looking at the real thing. But of course the flower has no smell and the leaves in the trees are not moving; it's only a Illusion of a flower or a landscape, not the real thing. It's ART. In the same way my historically correct objects are naturally not from the deep seabed of the boat Titanic, its not either cheap "replicas" anyone with money can buy on the net. They are real antique objects from the exact same time as the ones rescued from the wreck of RMS Titanic. They also look like the objects in the Titanic Museum collection.
